Our Story

Our story began in the most modern way possible - on a dating app (shout out to Hinge). We first matched and started talking in March 2024 and instantly clicked. Conversation flowed effortlessly, laughs came easily and it didn’t take long for us to realise there was something special here.

Not long after, we discovered a surprising twist. We had actually gone to the same secondary school and were just one year apart! Despite this, we had never spoken back then and to be fair, Bhavik looked very different so Shreena didn’t recognise him at all. In fact, she listed everyone she remembered from his year except him.

We finally met face to face in April 2024 and from that moment on, we both knew this was it.

Much of our early journey together involved Shreena limping her way through life due to her hip operation but Bhavik never once hesitated. He stayed, supported and proved that he would always be there, no matter what. That’s when Shreena knew she had found her person.

And what did Shreena do for Bhavik, you may ask? Having travelled the world and experienced life far beyond her comfort zone, she gently (and sometimes not so gently) introduced Bhavik to life outside of sitting in front of his computer gaming and watching anime. She showed him new experiences, new perspectives and a bigger world waiting to be explored outside of Colindale.

In February 2026, Bhavik proposed in Malta, Shreena’s 33rd country visited and Bhavik’s 5th (he has a lot of catching up to do). And yet, despite Shreena having seen so many wonderful and amazing places, Bhavik was able to show her the most beautiful sight she had ever seen, a sight she will never forget.. The rock on her finger!

Once the excitement settled, we were deep into wedding planning and making big decisions but Shreena had this all under control with her organisational skills so it was pretty smooth sailing.

With Bhavik’s web design skills and Shreena’s graphic design skills, Bhavik had a bright idea to put our talents to good use by building this very website and our digital wedding invitations. Embracing a modern, paperless approach, it felt like the perfect way to add a personal twist to our wedding.

But between this, wedding supplier visits, colour palettes and countless conversations about the littlest details (being the perfectionists we are), the months raced by.

And here we are today, moments from our big day!

Our journey together may seem short but it has been filled with tests, battles, growth, endless yapping and so much love. We can’t wait to celebrate with you as we begin this next chapter and start our lives together.
